Our Story
Flora Farms Mulegé – A Real Project in Real Baja
Flora Farms Mulegé started with land, a bay, and a shared vision.
We are:
- A local family who owns 560 acres between Highway 1 and Bahía Concepción
- Fabian, who knows the land, the people, and how Baja really works
- Benjamin, who brings RV experience, solar know-how, and guests from all over
Together, we decided to build something slowly and honestly:
- An eco-friendly RV park and retreat space
- Connected to real organic farms nearby
- Sitting on 560 acres of desert and sea above Bahía Concepción
No fake stories. No inflated promises. Just a real place being built step by step.
Where It Starts: 560 Acres on Bahía Concepción
The heart of Flora Farms Mulegé is the land:
- 560 acres from the paved Highway 1 down to the shore of Bahía Concepción
- Desert hills, ridges, arroyos, and natural viewpoints
- A quiet stretch of bay with a small natural harbor
This is where:
- You camp in your RV, van, or overland rig
- We’re building spacious RV sites, roads, and simple infrastructure
- Future casitas and long-stay options will sit above the bay
This land is owned by a local family that has been here long before this project.
The agreement is simple and clear:
- 50% for the family who owns the property
- 50% for the project side, shared between Fabian and Benjamin
Everyone has skin in the game. Everyone wants to protect the land and make it work.
The Farms: Fresh Food from 10 Miles Away
The organic farms are not on the 560 acres.
They are located about 10 miles away, where the soil and water make sense for growing food.
We work with two partner organic farms that grow:
- Seasonal vegetables and leafy greens
- Herbs and local produce
- Fruit when it’s in season
From those farms, we bring:
- Daily fresh vegetables to our local fruit and veg stand at Flora Farms Mulegé
- Options for guests to:
- Visit the farms (when available)
- Pick or purchase produce
- Or just buy farm-fresh veg straight from the stand
The concept is simple:
- You stay on the bayfront land
- Your food comes from real organic farms nearby
- You get fresh, local ingredients without driving all over Baja to find them
Why We’re Building This
We didn’t want to build:
- Another crowded, concrete RV park
- A fake “eco resort” that’s all marketing and no substance
- A high-rise condo project that blocks views and kills the vibe
We wanted to build a place where:
- RVers, overlanders, snowbirds, and long-stay guests can spread out and breathe
- People can eat real food that hasn’t sat in a truck for a week
- The land and bay are respected, not stripped and overbuilt
- Ownership and long-term stays are possible without ruining the place
So we’re doing it the only way that makes sense:
- Start small
- Use what we have
- Re-invest everything we can
- Keep the density low
- Tell the truth about what exists now and what’s still just a plan
Who We Are (In Plain Terms)
The Local Family
Holds the land. Has history here. Knows the rhythms of the area and wants this project to fit the place, not fight it.
Fabian
Grounded in Baja. Handles relationships, logistics, and the local reality—people, permits, and making sure things get done in a way that works here.
Benjamin
RV, solar, and off-grid focused. Looks at the land and sees:
- RV sites
- Solar-powered infrastructure
- Tours and experiences that actually make money
- Real estate and fractional models that can work long term
Together, this is not a “corporate” project.
It’s a partnership between land, locals, and people who know how travelers think.
How We’re Building (Step by Step)
We’re not pretending everything is finished. Here’s the real order:
- Phase One – Dry Camping & Basic Access
- Grade and mark 25 dry camping sites
- Create simple roads and signage
- Add basic services (toilets, trash, water access)
- Phase Two – Full Hookup RV Sites & Shared Facilities
- Build solar-powered infrastructure
- Create a bath house with showers and toilets
- Add full-hookup RV sites with water, sewer, and power
- Phase Three – Experiences & Simple Structures
- Launch small guided walks, farm visits, and basic bay access
- Test small gatherings, retreats, and events
- Build a few shade structures and community spaces
- Phase Four – Casitas & Fractional Options
- Design and build a small set of bay-view casitas
- Open long-stay and fractional options for people who want time here each year
- Keep everything low-density and eco-conscious
Each phase is funded by the last.
No phase is promised until the one before it is real.
Our Values (No Fluff)
We keep it simple:
- Tell the truth.
If something doesn’t exist yet, we say so. - Respect the land.
No pointless destruction, no ugly overbuild. - Respect travelers.
Clear communication, honest expectations, and fair value. - Support local.
Work with local farms, workers, and partners around Mulegé and Bahía Concepción. - Grow slowly on purpose.
We’d rather say “not yet” than rush and make trash.
If this matches your values, you’re our kind of guest.
